How do I place an order?
Most orders can easily be placed over the phone or by email. Or if you'd like to discuss a cake with a cake consultant in person, you can make an appointment (by phone or email).
When should I place my order?
For cakes without custom decoration, we recommend that orders be placed 72 hours in advance. For custom cakes, we recommend that you place your order at least one week in advance, depending on the level of complexity of your creation. Please keep in mind that we do become fully booked on some weekends.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Delivery is available throughout the San Joaquin Valley and San Francisco Bay Area. Please inquire for a quote.
Do you ship?
Unfortunately we cannot ship cakes or cupcakes at this time.
How do I order a custom designed cake?
Custom designed cakes may be ordered over email or telephone (email is great for sharing design inspirations and images). If you prefer, we can meet and work with you in person as well. Please email or call in advance to arrange a time to meet.
What is the difference between a buttercream and fondant finished cake?
Buttercream is what you'll commonly see on many traditional cakes. It is made primarily of butter and sugar. Fondant has a thicker, dough-like consistency which can be rolled out and draped over the cake, creating a beautifully smooth cover. Fondant can also be used to make 3D toppers, polka dots, stars, flowers, etc. Only cakes frosted in buttercream or ganache may be covered in fondant. Unfortunately other frostings, like marshmallow or cream cheese, will not support the fondant. All of our fondant-covered cakes have a nice layer of frosting before the fondant is applied so that anyone who may dislike fondant can simply remove the fondant covering before enjoying their cake.
Are your products suitable for those with nut allergies?
While many of our products do not contain nuts, all of our baked goods are made on the premises in the same kitchen, and so may have been in contact with nuts. Please contact us via telephone or email to discuss your food allergy needs and options.
Do you offer gluten free products?

What if I have to cancel my order?
A deposit is made when an order is finalized. If you must later cancel an order, it is best to let us know as early as possible. Orders that are cancelled with 7 days notice are refunded in full, less the cost of any special order items (i.e. cake toppers, jewelry, support systems). Unfortunately, for orders that are cancelled with less than 72 hours notice the deposit will not be refunded.
